With age, our skin cells divide more slowly so as we get older, we get wrinkles on our skin. As a normal part of aging, skin also starts to lose it’s elasticity, ability to hold moisture etc.
Beside fact that aging is main cause for wrinkles, there are other factors that promote wrinkling, factors as smoking, sun exposure, skin type, heredity, facial muscle contractions etc.
When it comes to wrinkles, they usually appear on body parts that are most exposed to sun, such as face, neck and forearms. In spite of fact that you can’t control aging and to stop wrinkles completely, at least you can slow them down, you can reduce their occurrence, so at least minimize sun exposure and reduce or quit smoking.
Nowadays they are many cosmetic products on the market, but beside being expensive, some of them may have opposite effect, due to their synthetic chemicals. In past, women used to use natural cosmetics made from plants, herbs and other natural ingredients available in their surroundings.
