The reason for this is that regular consumption of fruits and vegetables provides the organism with especially important nutritional elements that make the organism stronger and more resistant to nicotine addiction. Moreover, it is proven that people who consume fruits and vegetables smoke much less during the day than those who rarely do, which is one more reason why these people are more likely to stop smoking.
The research was published in the Nicotine and Tobacco Research journal and scientists once again highlight the harmful effects of smoking and the positive impact fruits and vegetables have that in addition to being healthy for the body are also very effective method for treating this harmful habit.
