Tuna is very rich in protein and contains very little fat and is one of the best foods that affect the growth of muscles and is very good for their recovery. With combination of canned fish and a few simple ingredients, you can get a delicious meal for just a few minutes – tuna burger, which is far healthier than beef.
Tuna is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, acting anti-inflammatory and reduce the risk of heart disease.
This is a recipe for delicious tuna burger for everyone who want to try something different but at same time healthy and tasty.
You will need (for one portion-2 patties):
- 300 grams of tuna;
- 1 Teaspoons mustard;
- 1 Tbsp Rolled oats (optional);
- 1 Tablespoon lemon;
- 1 Tbsp mayo;
- 1 Finely chopped small onion;
- 1 Tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley;
- 2 Eggs;
- Salt and pepper to taste;
- Olive Oil.
In one bowl put eggs, finely chopped fresh parsley and spices (salt and pepper). Mix them well. Drain tuna from oil and then together with mayo and mustard add it and mix all together and at the end, by wish, you can also add the rolled oats and then mix again. This well mix mixture leave for a few minutes to stand in a bowl. Make patties from the mixture, but pay attention, the mixture will be sticky.
Heat the pan and add a few drops of olive oil. Fry the patties in a pan until they get brown. Usually 2 minutes on each side will be enough.
