Sugar as is known, is one of the biggest enemies of our health and it is one of the main causes of obesity.

Sweet foods have a high glycemic index and consumption of this kind of foods results in dramatic changes in the level of insulin also.
Consummation on these foods in a long-term and too much sugar in body can cause insulin resistance and diabetes and to accelerate the aging process.
Sugar inhibits the binding of the collagen and that way the skin loses her fresh and healthy appearance and it start aging more faster.
Keep in mind that soft drinks, especially energy drinks, baked products, processed foods are high in sugar.
Balanced sugar intake will not “allow” these health problems with skin. The recommended maximum daily intake of sugar is 30 grams for men and 25 for women.
