Preparation and Usage:
(prepare at night)
In 200 ml of hot boiled water add half tsp of cinnamon powder and stir well. Pour the water in a glass and let it cool and then add a teaspoon of honey, stir well till honey is dissolved and put the glass in the refrigerator.
The next day, before going to bed, consume the drink and prepare another for the following day.
Keep in mind that if you have liver problems, there are certain types of cinnamon which contain significant amounts of coumarin (organic chemical compound) and coumarin when is taken for more than two weeks may damage the liver so make sure to use ceylon cinnamon, which contains lower concentrations of coumarin and consult with your doctor first.
Note: You can use green tea instead of water if you wish. Also, always add honey to the cooled liquid, hot liquid destroys the enzymes in the honey.
