The change in technology of production and changes made on important ingredients in our diet etc. made us more susceptible to allergies, autoimmune to many diseases which makes our immune system more weak.
Low immunity is commonly blamed for causing many diseases, from various infections and allergies to cancer. Therefore, many people are trying different ways to strengthen their immune system or the defense capability of the organism.
Autoimmune diseases has increased up to 5 % per year and for several decades, allergic diseases such as asthma, dermatitis and gastrointestinal disorders will increase by almost 150%. When our parents were in school, there were no kids with asthma for example, and now each department has least one kid with asthma or some allergic reaction. Also, we are faced with increased malignancy whose occurrence is also associated with decreased immunity.
There are two different factors which lead to immune dysfunction, and both are related to the diet. One of them is the lack 1.3 and 1.6 beta glucan of the food chain as a result of changes in agriculture and process of food production. Another reason is the lack of omega 3 fatty acids that are quite reduced in the diet. All this, including today modern life, has made us susceptible to allergies and autoimmune diseases due to our low immune system.
Earlier, beta glucan was quite present in the food chain and people were consuming it every day. But today, due to changes in food technology of course, our intake of these compounds is considerably less, resulting in dysfunction of our immune system. Therefore we must enter as a dietary supplement.
Also, food is not the only factor, it may be the main one, but not the only one. Today modern lifestyle has many advantages, but unfortunately, has also many disadvantages, which our anchestor didn’t have them. For example, we consume synthetic drugs every single day, list is long, starting from ordinary pills against headache to birth control pills etc. Also, to not forget, fast way of life and lack of physical activity, and when you add your daily stress, tobacco, alcohol etc. to our poor nutritional diet which is not organic like in time of our grandparents, of course we will have weaker immune system.
So, people, to be healthy like our ancestors, no matter how busy you are, always find time to take a break, take a breath, to relax your body,mind and soul and also start to eat healthy food, organic if you can, and add some physical activity into your weekly agenda.
