Physical activity for health
To be healthier is not just to eat healthier but to be active. Regular physical activity is important for overall health and vitality. It also helps control weight, balance calories you enter.
Be physically active for at least 30 minutes a day, for most days of the week.
Increasing the intensity or timing of physical activity can provide greater health benefits and may be required if we wanna lose weight. Prevention of weight gain may take about 60 minutes per day.
Children and teenagers should be physically active for 60 minutes a day, almost every day.
No marathon training is needed to feel the real health benefits. Any physical activity is better than no activity. 30-minute brisk walk five times a week is all you need. Or, you can practice 20 minutes of energetic physical activity such as jogging, aerobics, tennis – 3 times a week. Or some combination of both. The more physical Action – better. But you do not have to stay just on running or walking. Many activities are considered as exercise, for example: dancing, skating, gardening.
Keep in mind the following: If you eat more calories a day than you burn, your weight will increase. So, you need to balance your food consumption and your physical activity or if you wanna to lose weight, then it is important to reduce calorie intake and increase physical activity.
A few tips to be physically active:
Choose activities that you want. Choose activities that you enjoy. Many activities are considered exercise: dancing, hiking, basketball, gardening etc.
Divide your daily activity. It does not have daily physical activity to be carried out at once. Can be divided for example, in three intervals in the morning, noon and night in 10 minutes and it will give the same benefits as exercise once in 30 minutes.
Exercising with a friend. – It may encourage you to start a physical activity and maintain a regular pace.
