This Is Why You Should Wrap Your Joints In Cabbage
Due to cabbage Anti-inflammatory properties and due to the cadmium-binding complexes in its leaves, cabbage and cabbage wrap has amazing healing powers.
The wrap of cabbage leaves beside swelling and joint pain is effective also in the case of: necrosis (tissue extinction parts), burns, eczema, acne, adenitis (inflammation of the gland), diseases of the blood vessels, lymphangitis (inflammation of the lymphatic vessels), cellulitis , blain (ulcers), rheumatic neuralgia, lumbago, sciatica, facial neuralgia, migraine, frostbite, wounds, varicose ulcers.
Preparation:
First, wash the leaves with clean water, drain them and then steam them for few minutes or cook them in microwave for 1 minute, just to warm it up. When they are warm and ready, first remove the hard stem from each leaf and then smash them just a little bit, with wooden (kitchen) hammer, just until juice start to drain from them.
Then, using plastic wrap, wrap the desired spot with cabbage leaves (smooth side facing toward the skin). Let it stand for 3-4 hours, or until the leaves become dry. If the wrap is kept to overnight, then strengthen the wrap with bandage.
In the case of ulcerative tumors, cabbage leaves can be soaked in olive oil and leave to stand for 30 minutes to an hour.
When wrap is removed, wash the spot with warm water.
